In the spring of 2011, I went on a two week adventure through the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. While I was there, I got to experience the rich street art culture of Berlin. We toured some of the iconic art and learned about how the culture developed as communication, protest, self-expression and ultimately as a unique part of the cityscape. When I returned from my trip, I was inspired to dig into stenciling and see where it took me.
