Katherine works as a Project Coordinator at EatonGolden, a local Web Design and User Experience consulting firm where she interned while in college. In this role, she supports the various branches of the team in Strategy, Information Architecture, Design, Production and Usability Testing by being the direct point of contact for clients.
Katherine graduated from Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science: Visualization. This track exposed her to a broader way of thinking, with classes on Sustainable Design, Creative and Critical Thinking, Project Management, Web Design, Experience Design and Fine Arts.
Outside of work, Katherine has many hobbies and interests. She is a jack of all trades and dabbles in acrylic painting, watercolor, clothing design, scratchboard, pastels, charcoal, collage, visual journalling, digital art and anything else she can get her hands on. In performance art, she enjoys fire dancing (poi, and fire fans, 6 years), Belly dance (Jawaahir Dance Company, 4 years) and Burlesque (Playful Peacock Showgirl Academy, 2 years).
In 2011, she developed a love for Hoop Dance which has largely over-shadowed just about everything else. Exploring movement through hooping and combining her experience in belly dance and burlesque with it has allowed her to better express pure, physical joy.
